What that make you then Breezy. You have got about ten. You must be very very very very very very very very very very self respecting. And can't you ask him to write some songs with just G,D and C in them for us mere mortals to copy? Don't forget The Dunstable Festival sing a rounds and folk club Fri 8.30pm til 11.00pm and again on Saturday 12.00pm til 6.00pm at Finbars. High st North Dunstable.

Just back from a fabulous week in La Jeuss with Martyn and Harvey. More about that in separate post tomorrow. Meanwhile, thanks for the wishes, sorry to Dave & Anni that I can't make it this time, and the summer produced three new songs using only G, C and D - especially for you, Martin. "Watermelon seeds" will be right up your street.

Now to practice for Monday...

All sounds a bit negative

Shouldn't we all be getting out to support music wherever and whenever we can

Is this the folk police again?

Or should we just support who is the best?

Having not seen or heard the Grek for over 6 weeks I was very impressed by his performance last night.
A balanced selection of songs that contained pace and pathos, sincerity and humour.
He is a bit good on the old guitar too which one can easily overlook.
The club was very friendly with a good selection of floor singers and some fine harmonies from the audience.
Make a note now of George Papavgeris's official CD launch on 29th October in St Albans,Herts at the Duke of Marlborough, the club re-opens Fri 24th Sept
