I don't remember the lyrics, but it would help to find the band or artist. Its been so long!! |

Though it was mid-80s, "Montego Bay" by Amazulu (originally by Bobby Bloom in the 70s)? And they sang "oh oh oh oh..." instead of "Na na na na..." Apparently there's a line dance they do to it now. |

However, the Battlefield band, on track 12 of their live album "Home Ground", do an extremely funky version, interspersed with other songs such as "with a little help from my friends" and "Let's twist again.." and "Donald where's your troosers". To increase the madness levels to maximum they throw in several tunes such as "Mari's wedding", "Atholl Highlanders" and the Fairy Dance. Interestingly, the audience, clearly prefer the tunes. |

Harry goes in and infuriates (as only he could) by requesting a song where the lyrics were Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha (spoken slowly and sepatately). Turned out that the song he was looking for was the Woody Woodpecker song. Drummer Cosy Powell had a hit song with the Naa na na naa ... "lyrics" in the 70s. Sounds like this could be a remix of that with some reggae overdubs - but I've no clue who might have been responsible. |

The lead singer had a headress like the PLO (Arafat) pattern. It was played today on the Today show, 11/12/09 at about 835 AM during Meridth Viera's segment about her dog.
