03 Nov 98 - 11:16 PM (#44116) Subject: TOM PAXTON'S Strange Rain From: Lucia I have heard this song "Strange Rain" by Tom Paxton some years back. It is a song about Hiroshima, black rain, etc. Would love to have a recording of it or lyrics at least. Been looking for years and the singer who sung it for me has passed away.

Lyrics and music are there. I suggest you go to the top of this page, click on the catfish/banjo and order it from Amazaon.com or Barnes and Noble, so Mudcat can get a few pennies. alice in montana

Those first 6 or so albums have not been reissued on CD so a sampling of them is better than nothing. I doubt this song would be among the selections, so you better get the book too rich r |

It's only a sound sample and not complete, though. This is actually released on a promo single record back in 1961 by Tom Paxton and Gil Robbins (manager of the Gaslight and father of Tim Robbins).
