15 Sep 04 - 11:17 AM (#1272460) Subject: RE: BS: Nader's Top Endorsers From 2000 Urge From: McGrath of Harlow I've had a gut feeling all along that before the election Nader will actually at some point say he is no longer a candidate. We'll see. I note that in Florida Bush's brother's administration is intervening to try to ensure that Nader's name is on the ballot... |

They are only for electoral reform when it is convenient, apparently. This hysteria mongering is so going to boomerang on the left. That list of people now supporting a pro-war candidate, were the leaders of the anti-war protests a year and a half ago. But thanks for supplying us with the link, saulgoldie. Now I know which organizations I'll never support again. |

15 Sep 04 - 01:20 PM (#1272613) Subject: RE: BS: Nader's Top Endorsers From 2000 Urge From: Nerd I fear it won't matter if Nader withdraws or not. Once your name is on the ballott, people can vote for you. And Nader's supporters are dedicated enough to do so. They KNOW he isn't going to win anyway, so they're voting to send a message, and they'll send it whether Nader is with them or not. |
