Looking for a good band metrenome

Hello all,

I'm the guitarist and leader of the new Irish band Kula (www.kulaband.com), and we're needing a good loud metrenome to practice our timing with. Does anyone know of a model that is loud enough to be used in a band practice setting? We've got 7 members in the band, so the sound's pretty full.

Thanks in advance

Morgon D

It's called a 'Drummer'.

Good ones are expensive.

There used to be one in a 19" rack shape, that had a row of lights that made a shape in the air like a conductors batton. It was silent and invisible to an audience, but a whole ensemble could follow it.

Failing that, a clockwork one with a swinging pendulum would do the same thing.
