I'm real curious. What it is about Goerge Bush or his administration that you like?

Please answer directly without the usual partisanship...

He didn't mention chimps at all in the Patriot Act. I think that's a good thing. He also looks vaguely like one. He's handsome, for a human.

I personally don't mind a bit of Bush, here & there, but some people prefer it shaved.

Remember the old saying
"A hand in the Bush is worth Two Birds on the Arm"

I have been channeling the spirits of Millard Fillmore, James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, and Calvin Coolidge. They agree that Bush had done them a great kindness. No one will ever wonder which one of them was our worst president, now that George W has had the job.

I'm unreservedly, unswervingly anti-Bush but it strikes me how comfortable he seems in his skin. Mind you, I think it's because he does not question the rightness of his actions, but I can see why it appeals to certain people (I'm trying to be diplomatic and tactful here)perhaps above any other issue. Bush is John Wayne.

I've been housesitting this last week so I've been watching a lot of cable television. My plan was to watch Fox News but that plan fell by the wayside- my spine cringes when I listen to them and I can't bear it- so I've been mostly watching CNN.

There must be another side. I heard a spokesman for the Bush family this evening calling the other side a "Left Wing Conspiracy".

The problem with FOX, Dougie isn't that it represents thre other side, because all of themn do that, it's just that in their blatent partisanship, they have rendered themselves cartoonish...

.... and predictable. 10% news, 90% entertainment and propaganda!

But back to Bush... I like the no tie, rolled up sleeves look..

(But Bobert, don't ya' think that this a throw back to the Reagan "brush cutting" look and that Karl Rove has been making him do it?)

Hey, I don't give a rat's butt about that stuff. I like the look. I hate ties...

I like the online game where he takes on hundreds of ninja-like assassins singlehandedly with a machine gun. He's very heroic and manly in that. Condoleeza Rice is impressive too.

Have you played it, Doug?

I like the fact that Bush eats pretzels too fast.

Maybe the next time he wolfs pretzels down he will do more than just faint.

This wwould be a great time for DougR and BB to win over recruits to their side. Let's hear a fair and balanced report why we should vote for Bush. Oh, and let's not forget the whole picture--economy, deficit, jobs and the lost respect for America around the world.

His face is frequently bruised and scraped, probably from falling down while under the influence of something, as it is very difficult to fall on your face sober, when your reflexes will save you.

This falling on his face makes him just a nice regular guy, in my opinion. I'd love it if he lived on my street and had a regular 9 to 5 job that was harmless to the rest of the world. He would be fun to invite to a party, as long as you put him in a room with soft surfaces.

It's just that he's too stupid and falling-down drunk much of the time to be president.

Other than that....okay ordinary guy I guess.

From the few I've seen in print, he's very quotable.

Glad he's not MY President, though.

(CBS) As opposite as George Bush and John Kerry may seem to be, they do share a common secret - one they've shared for decades, and one they will not share with the electorate. (60 Minutes)

from a google of    bush, kerry, yale, skull and bones

The article from June mentions they were both Skull and Bones members.
