Folkie duo Cracktown are appearing, [they are quite famous in and around Hull, they run the session at The George, in The Land Of The Green Ginger, attend Oddfellows, and The Lamp and Adelphi [all on Beverley Road]. Young female singer Jenny Bromley is also doing a spot, also band called The Displacements [never heard of them, but there probably good]. There is a small admission fee, but all money raised goes to an anti Racist charity called Unite. The Ringside is opposite that hospital that isn't there any more, [the one they knocked down]. |
