20 Sep 04 - 09:40 AM (#1276399) Subject: Barton (lincs) Session From: GUEST,KJ Now listen 'ere you lot. Last week there was just us & Bloke sat there. It was very pleasant to sit and talk to Bloke 'cos we don't often have chance to have a proper converse with the great man, but not much music was occuring. Anyone coming along this week? He'll kill me but I thought I'd just mention that it's CT's B'day on 22nd & I'm sure he'd like to get into the spirit with a bit of a bash on Tuesday. |
20 Sep 04 - 10:05 AM (#1276417) Subject: RE: Barton (lincs) Session From: GUEST,Cod Fiddler I have just got a car and I am now free! Barton is on my list of top priorities. I was there for the BIG SESSION with the folkies of Hull and it is one of the best sessions I've ever been to. In the not-too-distant-future I can envisage a period of golden and rosy-tinted happiness when I can appear there every week. However, last week I got in trouble for not working hard enough and I now have to finish my PhD in record time. I think that I won't be around until after christmas. I hope to see you all soon. Richard. |

If you are interested in hearing them as part of "Shifty Pig", come to the acoustic night at Pocklington Arts Centre on sunday evening. See the Blatant Plug thread for more details. Richard. |
