Lincoln Drill Hall Time: 8:00pm Tickets: Free Available: On the door As a compliment to our Drill Hall Unplanned open mic arts night, the doors are opened tonight to musicians, songwriters and anyone who fancies an informal evening of live acoustic music. Come and perform your material to a sympathetic and like-minded audience or simpley come and listen. We welcome original material and if you feel like throwing a couple of covers in as well - feel free! The event will be staged in the venue's Armoury Cafe Bar and each month will be hosted by our very own Armoury Skiffle Band! All you need to bring is your songs, your instruments and yourself! The idea is that, with a drink in one hand, anyone can come along and read a favourite poem or passage from a favourite book, play a tune or sing a song, maybe even re-enact a favourite scene from a favourite play or try out something new and original in front of a friendly and supportive audience. Apart from Ian performing, Aden was the only other name we knew who has played at Lincoln FC before. He plays the Blues with so much energy and STYLE. Probably some of the acts were students and others.... also with a great wealth of talent.
