BS: Rude words in thread titles

This is going to be one of those days. I look in on mudcat from work in school. Our schools are "protected" by a screening filter. When days like today happen I can only see anything before the "word". This could last all day.

Those filters should just change one letter randomly:

Kerry is an arrogant gsshole!

Fhck you!

etc, etc.

There are lots of silly stories about filters filtering totally innocuous pages that happen to have a few adjacent letters that might upset Billy Graham or someone... if I can find the site that detailed them I'll try to get the link here.

Some of those stories are not so silly. - or rather they are silly - but not untrue.

The filtering service we use blocked a site at one point because someone had mispelled the word "duke" as "dyke"

Essex and Sussex have some problems with this at times, as does the town of Scunthorpe.

No one could receive the mailing list missives from
The Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club

I tried to tap the word "Cockney" into another forum last night. It came up as "thingyney", which I rather liked!

Customers of Virgin's on-line services (as an ISP) often claimed they hadn't received e-mails about upgrades, or warning them their service was due to be discontinued.
I still don't think the management have thought about changing the subject lines of e-mails
