They are the best example I can come up with about how epehemeral music is. They were quite popular for three or four years, and yet all their albums went out of print almost the moment they broke up. I sing When We're Gone, Long Gone, which is a terrific song. What is "PM me?" And how do I do that? I remember hearing their stuff and liking it back when they were together. A friend sang this song and I always liked it. Now I would like to learn it. Cds of the O'Kanes albums are out of print, but I've picked up two of them on eBay. Came out around the same time as a great CD by another favorite country singer of mine I never hear any more about.. Mike Reid. The first O'Kanes CD IS still avialable on Amazon.com for $27. I don't want it THAT bad. I like their second album better. And you're right, Stewie.. didn't stop to think that gm can't pm me unless he becomes a member.
