My Netflix rental DVD "Out of Ireland" arrived in yesterday's mail, so the Mrs. and I sat and watched that instead of the debate broadcast. It's a documentary retrospective on the Irish music scene (rock, pop, and traditional as well) from the 60s through 2003 -- good stuff! |

Hepburn is so charming and elegant, and Peck is so reliably funny and kind that it was a good antidote to 90 minutes of listening to Dubya. SRS |

At last I'm beginning to feel I can vote for Kerry, rather than just voting against Bush. First time I've been really impressed by him...he did well, kept his head, was forceful without ranting. Bush, of course, is always sort of uncomfortable to watch, never more so that last night. |

Perhaps they win something else? Ah, but only two people had an opportunity to participate in this one. Listening is not participating. The REAL debate, in which most Americans (United Statesians) can take part, is held early in November. And those who do not participate in that one most assuredly will not win it. Dave Oesterreich |

Since I am in no doubt as to how to vote, I spared myself 90 minutes of teeth-gnashing and swearing at the television set. :) I did tape it, but haven't decided if I'll watch it. |

Watching Bush squirm and look like he was sucking lemons was nowhere near as enjoyable as that would have been, but it was quite a treat! Don Firth |
