Here's the challenge. How many words can you make using the letters

I have posted 7 words. Notice I could have pluralizes rat and tar, thus bringing my total to 9. However, I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread just to win a contest that has no prize. The words must be acceptable to the On-line Merriam Webster Tenth Collegiate Dictionary. No whining. That's one of the rules.
