(If anyone knows the guitar chords too, I would be forever endebted!) This is a song from my childhood, I grew up listening to The House Band and this is my favourite of their songs. In most computers these days you can just click on the file and a music player will open and you will hear the melody (one note at a time only; no harmony)play on your computer. Seriously, it is the first version of this song I heard and well worth listening to (Warning: thread creep: Pick up all of the Out of the Rain recordings while you are at it: the band had a gift for harmony singing, good choice of songs, a remarkable mandolin player who was a fine songwriter in the bargain, particularly apt at setting poems to music, and at least a couple of very fine voices.). |
