It's one of the best musical threads I've seen since the Duelling Banjo's Penguin. Very amusing animation and lyrics and complements the Buggles song. That said, I always preferred the other original version of Video Killed the Radio Star, performed by co-writer Bruce Woolley, which was relesed and played on radio a short while before the Buggles version charted. His band "Bruce Woolley and the Camera Club" were much more of a serious rock band (although to look at their photos CLICK HERE! that might be an exaggeration..... Quack!! GtD. |

You may know that Bill Mumy (Will Robinson from Lost In Space) was a member of Barnes & Barnes, the group that wrote Fish Heads. But did you know that the main character in the video was Bill Paxton, who also directed it? Try and get that bit of useless info out of your grey matter now. |

21 Oct 04 - 09:55 AM (#1302849) Subject: RE: BS: Internet Killed The Video Star!!! From: Geoff the Duck I wasn't aware that Fish Heads was anything to do with Bill Mumy. In fact I was not aware of anything to do with him between Lost in Space and Babylon 5. By the way - the Fish Heads video is also listed in the Internet Movie Database. Quack!! GtD. |
