Hello,

Can anyone direct me to a source for the melody for Roy Williamson's "The Hills of Ardmorn"? (No ABC notation, however, thanks all the same). I did check that it's not here at Digitrad.

Thank you,
k.

You might try to get hold of The Corries LP 'Barrett's Privateers' (1987). I found it in a 2nd hand shop not long ago. Or you might order Malinky's '3 Ravens' where it is included among other very good stuff, well worth buying.

Hi k.

It is in the Corries first two song books. Do a google search on the title. It brings up a lot of hits including about 5 different Corries LPs.

Just to point out thatHills of Ardmorn is on the first Malinky album, Last Leaves, not 3 Ravens!

Sorry Steve! You're right of course. Did you get home safely after Kellinghusen?

I just recieved in the mail from Gavin Browne, "Lads Among The Heather," By the Corries. This is a compilation of videos of live performances from their TV show. One of which is "Ardmorn".

I believe you can see the instruments long enough to get the chords down if you need them.

There is a second new DVD available which I will have very soon.
I am continually impressed by the performance s and quality of work these men did.

Like them or don't. They were always first rate musicians and both remarkable voices.
