30 Oct 04 - 01:21 AM (#1311222) Subject: RE: Visualization of President John Kerry From: GUEST,Johnjohn "Kerry unfit To the editor: If you are undecided, confused about issues, or forever Democrat, here are the reasons you should vote for Bush. First, terrorists attacked us 9/11. This is the most important issue. Bush's administration has killed or jailed three-fourths of the Taliban in Afghanistan and freed that country as well as Iraq. Afghanistan-trained terrorists and Iraq were threats because Saddam planned to re-develop chemical weapons when sanctions were lifted. Now we know, France, Germany and Russia were taking bribes from Saddam and even furnishing weapons. Our soldiers say we are winning in Iraq. Second, 255 Swift Boat Veterans for Truth say John Kerry is "unfit for command" in their book by that title. Democrats say these are Republicans. They're not. The truth is that John Kerry's picture hangs in the Hanoi museum for helping them to win. He betrayed this country by meeting with the enemy while the war was going on. That's called treason. Our POWs were tortured because of Kerry's Congressional testimony. Veterans are angry, but POW wives are livid. The third issue is the unelected judges who are making laws, not interpreting them. In 2002, they legalized sodomy. In 2003, they overturned Congress to say homosexual marriage is lawful and in 2004, they threw out the law Congress passed to protect children from pornography and protected pornographers. John Kerry favors homosexual unions and would appoint judges who protect them. We need moral judges. The fourth reason is Kerry doesn't tell the truth. He told 17 lies in the first debate. I heard him say Bush owned a lumber company. It was news to Bush. Kerry said half the black men in New York City were unemployed, which is totally untrue. Kerry's biggest mistake was to lie about Vietnam veterans committing atrocities. He was the only one committing war crimes. John Hongisto explained it perfectly in his 'Kerry Unfit' letter to the editor on Oct. 15. The fifth reason is Kerry's voting record of 20 years in the Senate, voting against all our weapons and for tax increases, even on Social Security. Lastly, he insulted Iyad Allawi, the prime minister of Iraq, when he came to thank us. Like this paper pointed out, this is not the way to make friends. John Kerry as commander-in-chief would be a disaster. He doesn't fit the Democratic Party. LOIS JEAN WOODWORTH Calumet" http://www.mininggazette.com/letters/story/1028202004_let19-l1028.asp JJ |

30 Oct 04 - 10:46 AM (#1311395) Subject: RE: Visualization of President John Kerry From: Amos Kerry's biggest mistake was to lie about Vietnam veterans committing atrocities. Johnjohn: I disagree that it was a nice try. It was a mere parroting of someone else's highly distorted perspective. As to whether or not US soldiers committed atrocities in Vietnam, you are sadly mistaken. It happened, and it happened over and over, and John Kerry had the good heart and the courage to stand up and tell it like it was. Not all of our soldiers, sure, but so many that it desperately needed to be told. Kerry got it told at great personal risk. You should be ashamed top try to twist that into a personal slur and forward these BS assertions. A |

01 Nov 04 - 12:07 PM (#1313215) Subject: RE: Visualization of President John Kerry From: CarolC Nice try Johnjohn. You're selectively quoting him in this thread, but we can read what he's written in other threads. We're not as stupid here as you seem to think we are. Here's a synopsis of what I've read of what Ron Davies thinks about the Wall Street Journal: Editorial pages - biased toward the right (R.D. doesn't agree with their positions, but considers this an indication of the editorial policy of the magazine). Actual news stories - not biased toward the right (R. D. sometimes agrees with the news stories and uses them to help him make his arguments). Using pieces from the editorial pages and then saying that Ron Davies agrees with them based on your selective use of quotes from him is devious and dishonest, and entirely what I would expect from someone whose sole reason for posting in this forum is to campaign for Bush. |
