I don't know it myself, but i'll ask some of the more senior members of the village tommorow. They'll be only too happy to tell, it's their two favourite subjects, God and Gaelic all rolled into one ! :0)

A mhàin Dia bhitheas breith orm.

I don't know how accurate this is, i think it translates 'only God can make my judgment' . I got it from Scotland.com. Any help? :0)

Hello Blisfully Ignorant.

Thanks for the reply! I knew about the A mhàin.... but I was told by someone else that it was translated word to word from english and It
wasent "good Gàidhlig".
I would be verry interested by what the seniors of your village could tell you, if it's not too mutch to ask It would be verry verry appreciated, I've been looking around for quite sometime now. It's Important to me. The seniors would probebly know better.

It's verry nice of you!

I will be waiting for your reply.

MacPhee :)

The phrase is not word for word from English.
As close as I can come word for word from that phrase would be
"God's intent will be judgement on me."
Sorry, but my Gaelic is rather poor so I will not judge how good it is.

Hello again "Guest"can I know your name?
Anyway her's your translation:

Only God shall judge me (Italian)

Solmente Dio può giudicarmi.
or
Solo Dio può giudicarmi.

These are two different Italian dialects.
