The focus is generally on the band, but having played many times in many venues, I appreciate that we have to work as a team. Perhaps this is sometimes overlooked. |

I remember an occaison at a morris weekend (Scarborough it was, 2 or 3 years ago), great band but a shite caller ruined the evening for loads of folk. He seemed to call in a different language us northern people couldn't understand and then lost his temper when the dance went wrong. Sorry, not a folk awards story, but agreeing with the concept.
