Here is a little collection of bit part lyrics gathered in snatches that I have been nursing and as yet have been unable to identify/ complete.....Can you help?! Also, if you know who sings a good rendition, I would be eternally grateful, these have been going round and round for a while!!! Here goes... 1. And if I was a blackbird, I'd whistle and sing, I'd follow the vessel my true love sailed in, and in that fair brigand(?) I'd there build my nest, flutter my wings 'gainst his lily white chest.........ish ? 2. If you do a Lyric Search (See above), you can find the DT lyric set, as well as a number of threads on this particular song with many different variants. It's much easier for people if you create separate threads for each of the songs. |
