Sunday 21st November 2004

at the 'Spotlight' folk club

in the Upstairs room

of the Royal British Legion , on Verulam Road in St Albans , Herts, Eng ,u.k

Greece's no.1 contemporary English folk song writer and callous guitar stylist - how does he do that?

If you want to hear the man of the moment sing a set of his amazing songs then the door opens at 7.30 and the beer is very well priced

Adm., a mere £3 + £1 raffle of course.

He will have a few copies of his latest 5th CD, come and have them signed.

He has just written a protest song for teenagers, at least I think it is.

Limited seating, reservations possible

Partly to mark the end of the Ordinary Heroes launch concerts, and partly to detox, tonight's setlist will be an all-new one, the oldest song being 8 months old, and the newest a mere week. A kind of mini-preview of "Watermelon Seeds" (working title of the 6th...)

Innocent Katy
Silence of Friends
Baba
Working Week
Last Train Home
Young Eyes
(Watermelon Seeds?)

Working Week is going to challenge the Gregorian callender.

Last Train Home will prick a few conscienses of certain chaps who are late home from work with wives and family awaiting, and then off again before dawn the following morning, been there.

Young Eyes is an optomistic view of the future through the eyes of youth.

the man keeps going forward, thanks George, Australia, get ready.
