For years now, we've made a charity collection instead of sending each other Christmas cards and we've supported all manner of charities. This year, for the first time, each pound donated gets a raffle ticket and the prize for the raffle drawn at the end of term is a "Day off work" (approved by the head teacher). This added bonus is the brainchild of a charity called CLIC who work with the families of children with cancer and leukamia. It isn't too late to do this in your work place look here for details. |
