07 Dec 04 - 10:14 AM (#1349889) Subject: RE: When a Knight Won his spurs - chords From: GUEST,~m~ I found that page, and although I haven't actually tried those chords out, they don't look quite right to me somehow. I was hoping someone here would be able to point me at some sheet music.... However, the fact that midis can be converted to sheet music is news to me - I had no idea! I shall get on the case immediately. If only I'd known. What an amazing number of possibilities this opens up! Thanks so much! ~m~ |

07 Dec 04 - 06:29 PM (#1350400) Subject: Chords Add: WHEN A KNIGHT WON HIS SPURS From: Chris Green Christ! Haven't heard this since I was about eight! As far as I can remember it goes something like this G C Am D When a knight won his spurs in the stories of old G C D G He was gentle and brave he was gallant and bold G (Em7) C D With a shield on his arm and a lance in his hand G C D G For God and for valour he rode through the land I put the Em7 in brackets cos it's optional - you can just stick with the G, but I remember feeling particularly rakish at that tender age dropping the occasional minor seventh in! Hope that helps! |
