All singers, players, instruments, listeners and dancers welcome to our Monday night singalong

Starting at 8.30pm

We may attempt some carols - and we had Father Christmas come last year

Not sure if he'll get through customs this year

Santa can't make it this year. Sorry. He has not been anywhere this year, maybe next year. He is very boring. How about a one man mummers play instead? See you at Breezy's on Sunday?

Hi all - won't be able to make snalbens Sunday

But I'll be there Monday

It's a gas, gas, gas, gas

What's that new folk club on Fridays in Snalbens about - is it a JB re-launch or competition?

See you next year Ross? Oh yeah Breezy very good. We all had our eyes closed for the whole night and visited some strange places man. And I don't mean The Royal British Legion either. Another great night there. Speaking of strange I am off to Bertie's now to give him The Unicorns. Bye.

If you enjoy sitting around the toilets in a smoke filled room , constantly interupted then it was great.

GUEST: It's a shame you feel that way. I suppose it depends on your expectations as to whether you enjoy the singaround in the back bar. If you have been used to using the private function room, then I'm not surprised that you're unhappy.

The Barton singaround originally started in that back bar & I always found it very cosy. Of course it's not ideal, with access to the toilets and to the kitchen & back door also, but they're a friendly crowd in the Pub. And yes, it is a smoky atmosphere & sometimes quite noisy too, but this is only to be expected as it's not completely separated from the main bar.

The function room at the rear is actually part of the Pub's business & will need income so I can understand why the singaround is back in the main pub. I'm sure that you appreciate that a free singaround cannot possibly hire a private room for it's venue. I don't know what the current arrangements are, but I'm sure that Ross will make things clear when he comes back on-line again.

Thanks everyone for a great night

John B, Bert, Pat, Trevor, Tony Vasse, Bill, Carlos, John P, Philip and Bob - eleven with me - it was a good mix

Thanks Guest, Martin and guru - I'm not sure what to say - I enjoy the back bar a lot despite it's aggravations - it's folk

I should be at Letchworth on Friday; so you can all put your 2005 diarys away again

Arr in actual fact it is in the other room called "The Place" which is up from the Caffine in the shopping Mall. I am not sure who of us are going. Are you going Bertie? Might even get Derrick to drive. (never know your luck) and who is the roadie Ross? PS Did I tell you I won the raffle at Breezys on Sunday and it was a CD of Breezy. Excellent I will look forward to listerning to that. As I will look forward to hearing the live version at "The Spotlight Club" at The Royal British Legion Club in Verulam Road in St Albans, on Sunday 19th Dec, and so can we all. It's the last one before the Xmas break. So let's all go down and support the main man who started this great club up in the first place. Three Yippee's for Breezy. Yippee Yippee Yippee.

Ive just realised that this friday is the Hertsmere miked evening @ Borehamwood, so I will be there, working the PA stuff, so, sorry can't make "The Place". Sunday at the British Legion could be possible as you know I have a double life, Pats the roadie by the way, weds next week blues night at the bull for a noisy night amps and stuff? looking foreward to the next time when we all play together again, perhaps we could share a room at Doogs next year, the more there are the cheaper it is, to do some recording!!
