The Pen Pal of Peter Sutcliffe [aka The Yorkshire Ripper] wants to marry him, they are planning to get married next year.
He is a serial killer, convicted of murdering 13 women, and serving a life sentence.

"So waht does your new boyfrend do then?"
"He's a serial killer"
"Oh"!

Sorry! I assumed at first that this thread was about Penelope Rutledge, and I was going to say "No, she's not mad, but she IS under mind-manipulation by the aliens and Wellington-Jones is in it up to his eyeballs."

As for Peter Sutcliffe, well, he's small fry but he's part of it too. He's just a minor cog in a very big machine. Read all about it in my Independent Press!

This is fairly common. Some women spend their lives writing to convicted murderers in the hopes of rehabilitating and marrying one. Saw a TV program where they interviewed a number of these women. Not one seemed anywhere near "normal". But...for every pot there is a lid.

He musta told her the dead victims didn't understand him. Few women can resist at least trying to be The One Who Understands, which can be fatal in many ways.

Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, who broke into people's homes to murder them had two women madly in love with him. He creeped me out seriously, but there's no accounting for taste.
Madly in love is probably the right term.

I have survived partnership with more than one woman who understood me...or at least claimed to. It wasn't easy, but I managed it! :-)

Sinsull has it about right, most women want abit of a wild man to mould to their ideal.
The more faults they have the more of a challenge they are.

In my experience the women who look for a mothers boy,are the dominators, but they are well in the minority.
Most want to get a pigs ear and turn it into a silk purse, and some like Sutcliffes' woman just dont know their limitations ...Ake
