17 Dec 04 - 09:39 AM (#1359684) Subject: RE: Manchester area Christmas sessions etc From: GUEST,Joan from Wigan (at the library) Christmas singarounds in Wigan: Tuesday 21st at the Fox & Goose, Wigan Lane Thursday 23rd at the Seven Stars, Wallgate (by Wigan Pier) Both start at 9pm with free admission - bring some food to contribute to the Buffet, and hopefully some seasonal songs (but this is not compulsory). Everyone is welcome - the more the merrier. And the following week, we're closed on the Tuesday Bank Holiday, but it's our normal singaround at the Seven Stars on Thursday 30th. Season's Greetings to all, and would love to see old friends and new. Further details about what's on around Christmas, and indeed any time, can be found in Folkal Point - although this is no longer going out on email (due to my having lost internet access), it is still going up on the folk club website: Wigan Folk Club Best wishes, Joan |
