(Yes, the same group who put on the Philadelphia Folk Festival). The CDs must be independantly produced and of a folk theme. Although, I have covered some national releases, the mission of the column is to pulicize and promote independant projects that do not, as a rule, have access to other venues of criticism. I do not pan CDs. An unfavorable revue serves no one. If I like it, I tell people why. If I don't, I sayeth not a mumblin' word.
