30 Dec 04 - 11:12 PM (#1367749) Subject: RE: Review: Galiano Guitar From: GUEST,Songster Bob I once had a Galiano archtop (jazz-style with f-holes) guitar. It was solidly built, with a good if not great sound. A little "Germanic" -- lots of mids, sort of brash, without much mellowness, just what you need in a jazz ensemble, but less useful for country or folk. I have better archtops, so I eventually sold it. I've never seen any others, but the company/brand does exist. Bob |
