Hello Ross nice to see you. Where was Bert? and Breezy? See you at Letchworth, the next time the full "Folkaholick" team play?

I had a phone call about tonight, Phil's mate William, but he said he might have to go some where else. He might be in touch next year.

Hello Ross are you there? What are you doing New Years Eve?

Hi Martin - thanks for coming along last night - it was good to see you and Derek again - the session has missed you

Only 7 of us - thanks to Trevor, Philip, Tony and Paul - it was a bad night for us really with so much happening on a bank holiday

I think Bert and Pat were captured by their respective familys - I didn't know JB was thinking of coming

I remember William from the University workshop - I did speak to him yesterday - Andrew (3 B's) e-mailed me as well

I'm tied up with family on New Years Eve - hope to see you soon - I will definitely come along to support the supergroup in Letchworth

Your accordion playing was very good last night

What has happened to the round table at The Bull? It's gone. I knew something was wrong.

Subject: RE: Bull at Barton Beds
From: Ross

It's still there but in another position

There are now two round tables side by side in the corner opposite where the missing one used to stand

Hi everyone

Just a reminder to say our next singaround is this Monday starting 8.30 - 10th January 2005

All welcome to do their stuff - open around the room session with no stars or fees

Ross

Sorry - that's a fair point

I suppose everyone who turns up is a star

I'll rephrase - No black holes hopefully; will be present

Sorry I did not make it. How did it go. They had a Morris display at The Cross Keys in Pullox Hill tonight. Did any of them turn up afterwards? And more importantly did Bertie?

Were you there last night. Martin? I didn't see you. You should have made a rude gesture.

It was a good night, and we even got most of the dancing right this time.

Oh well you did not see me cause I was not there. I heard about it from "Life and Times" who I saw and heard twice in three days. Very nice. Any news of getting those songs of yours yet and Maureen's address?

pity you didnt catch Thorn and Roses somewhere, as well as Nick and Hannah Harris.

You mean people turned up to see L n T ,was that because it was free?

When they were booked at the ill fated 'Benny's' in Luton , before Christmas noone showed, they got paid to walk, benny's is now no more. guess if thats their pulling power then club organisers have to got to think very carefully.

Derek Brimstone has sound advice for budding organisers.

Kevin Buxton on Friday , Pat Crilly on Sunday 2 very exciting singer songwriters well worth catching up with , you may be interested in em for later, its homework time, research must not be neglected.

see ya soon dud

We missed you Martin - it was hard going up against a free plough Monday

Bertie was there and Pat; also John P, John B, Trevor, Bob, Tony V and me - eight in all

Life & Times are good - if they are struggling - it's bad news for folk music

We are thinking of changing the sessions from Monday to Wednesday

We would very much like to hear any opinions & feedback whether this is a good idea - best for the session

Would it hinder or help you coming along?

we had 14 at the Spotlight for John Waller

He could well be booking artistes for The Topic folk club Bradford in the future.

be sure to be there for the next visiting club organiser to be heard and seen.

Young Simon has done well so far on his visits and will be hearing from Bradford in the future too. Looks like he'll qualify for a Spotlight gig soon.
