Korvette discount chain?) from 1966 to 1968. Mono LPs sold for $2.79 Stereo Lps sold for $3.79 Those highbrow classical albums on labels such as Angel, Duetche Grammaphone, and RCA Red Seal were a buck more at $4.79 45s in that era were usually .69-.79 Next question, please. |

I'm assuming that Martin Gibson has always been a Chicagoan (indicating that Korvette covered at least half the country), but that may not be the case. I was ready to answer $3.95, but I'm not as sure of my answer as MG seems to be of his -- and he worked at the store, I just made an occasional purchase. |
