01 Jan 05 - 12:47 AM (#1368660) Subject: Dallas D banjo-ukelele fingerboard From: GUEST,Richard H Am trying to fix up a banjo-ukelele for a friend. It seems to be a Dallas Model D which has no dents and shows little sign of wear. However, the resonator back and the heel (?) to the neck need regluing. More importantly, the fingerboard is missing. It measures 8 3/8 inches from nut to top ring. Am I likely to find a replacement fingerboard or would I have to get one made? BTW, what gauge strings are used on these? Thanks. |
