This week, on January 4th, Canada's Bravo! Channel will have several programs of interest.

At 10AM Eastern, they will show from the National Film Board of Canada:

A Sigh and A Wish (E) 2001
A moving tribute to Maritimes folklorist Helen Creighton and the enduring appeal of her remarkable collections of story and song. Performances and commentary from such famed musicians as Pete Seeger and Mary Jane Lamond.

Later in the afternoon, at 4PM Eastern, there is

Sing! Healing, Community, Celebration (E) 2000
Three Canadian women who are not daunted by the idea that singing is only for superstars breathe new life into their communities by helping them reclaim the art of song.

And overnight, at 5AM, they have a special on Chet Atkins
