How about it folks? We are talking about it here in Long Beach. Now you Puget Sound people.....Stewart, you look like the organizing type, and Deckman and MikeN are great performers. There you go..I have arranged it for you.

On to Portland...Dave???? Barbara?????

I believe Mary is volunteering several people, including me, and urging us to organize and perform some kind of benefit concert for tsunami relief. I can't speak for others, but I am doing my bit, but in a different way.

I've been involved in efforts of this kind before, and I find that, unless a benefit concert is a VERY LARGE DEAL such as Farm Aid, they generally take a massive amount of money and effort to organize and promote, and tend to return about $1.98 after expenses.

Sorry to be a wet blanket (especially after something like a tsunami), but I think there are better ways.
