Last year, it was raining almost all of the time - except for about half an hour of sunshine on Sunday morning (most participants awoke too late to notice it ;-)) |

05 Jan 05 - 05:00 PM (#1372376) Subject: RE: Earthquake In Iceland its shaky....today From: Rapparee Skarpi, I just held a meeting with the staff here at the library about what we're going to do if we have to close. There are three different weather fronts approaching the US, and they will join together in the middle of the country. We're not there, but two of them are going to affect us. The Weather Service is calling for several feet of snow in the mountains and "heavy snow" is possible here in the high valleys. And we, like you, are in an area they call "seismically active" -- we can have earthquakes and even volcanic eruptions. I hope that you have a great time in Portaferry! |

NAH!!!! LTS (Seriously, hope all is well, I would imagine a flipped icefloe would be just as devastating as a tidal wave) |

Whatever happens, take good care of yourself, Skarpi, and have a good time in Portaferry. Pauline |
