11 Jan 05 - 03:49 PM (#1376884) Subject: Celtic Connections Festival -Help Needed From: Sabine Dear Mudcatters, I just received an urgent telephone call from my best friend. She is about to go to the Celtic Connections Festival to join a workshop. The problem is, due to familar problems, that she has lost some money. She already had booked and paid the flight and will arrive on Thursday, 13 th at Glasgow-Prestwick. But at the moment money is very low which was not predictable when she made the booking. Is there anyone out there to give her a helping hand in form of accomodation? She will stay from 13.01. till 17.01. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!!! If she gets into the sessions at the Late Night Club in the Holiday Inn and mentions her predicament there's usually plenty of Glasgow-based folkies, many of them young girls from the Academy, who will help out. |
