Yeah, we hosted Wylie last weekend at our monthly concert. A gracious bunch, funny as hell, and my 'yee-haw' muscles are still sore. If anyone is planning on going, I hear the Friday Afternoon concert is the place to be.

Dang, dang, dang. And it's my birthday weekend, too! Cow patties. Meadow muffins. Road apples. Horse puckey. Sidewinder scat. Shucks.

Ah, POOP!

Don and Waddie together do a helluva show, too. They float back and forth between music and poetry and it's amazing. The ticket price it worth it just for them.

I have to miss it.

Stephanie Davis and Waddie Mitchell at the same fest? I could kick myself.

I did "Talking Harvest Time Blues" at our open mike with musical backup. It was great. Getting all the lyrics down was murder.

we are at the first verse stage of it now...when the catalogs with
all the juicy pictures temp you with visions of fresh produce..
" Well, it starts with a catalogue that comes in the mail
In the middle of the winter, when you've had it with those pale
Thick-skinned, store-bought, sorry, hard-as-rock
Excuses for tomatoes with the flavor of a sock"
i dream of learning this song,
but i always crack up!! it is a hoot!

Wow, sounds like a great time. I missed the gathering here in Nevada. I'm gonna find a way to go to it in the next few years ... but some webcasts are available for these shows, so it's good to hear them that way. :)
