The official reason is to work the Strictly Sail Chicago show at the Navy Pier. Obviously, when the show is over for the day, it is time for music and getting together with other Catters. What's hoppenin' out there? |

Public transportation is very good, and you don't have to park it. Using a fair machine for the el train is rocket science. But they're reliable. There's a nice ice cream parlor in Marshall Field's department store. If you go to the Field Museum, don't waste your time on their gem collection. Do make plenty of time for their native American collection. Should you find yourself in Ravenswood there's a wonderful little Swedish cafe' that serves great breakfasts, the biscuits and gravy of the gods! Should you run across a short stocky woman with a buzz cut, walking a shaggy toy poodle, and a black and tan creature with a long nose, that she calls a metropolitan terrier, that's my sister, and she answers to Ellen. I suspect she knows some good bars, but she doesn't take me to them. |

You might try calling them at 312-714-0328 and see if they're "still stirring their stumps." By the way, I'll be down in NYC for the April Chantey Sing at the Mariner's Church. See you there.
