29 Jan 05 - 08:14 PM (#1392781) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: John Robinson (aka Cittern) I think I've slipped through a worm hole in the fabric of space and time and entered a parallel universe ... Which would make it the second time that's happened today ... just got back from a gig which started with a vote to elect a chairman. The evenings music was "item 6 on the agenda" ... which was the first time I've heard a band introduced on stage with the words "Well now we have item 6 on the agenda". Strange but true. It was Barnsley .... |
30 Jan 05 - 03:06 AM (#1392964) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Teresa I sure miss the benighted ...er ... wondrous, and kind and thoughtful Sir jOhn! Tell him hi from Teresa. How am I to fly from the States to visit the world's only flok/flock club if he is incommunicado? ;) :) Teresa |

03 Feb 05 - 04:04 AM (#1397576) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Gurney I don't believe jOhn is incommunicado. I've read a lot of his posts and I will believe he is incoherant, intoxicated, incorrigable, indefagitable, and several other places I won't mention. Where is communicado anyway? |
03 Feb 05 - 04:11 AM (#1397581) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Teresa Well, he wasn't incommunicado till a few days ago, at least as far as posting on Mudcat. I guess Communicado is the place where the ruthless get their ruth, the uncouth get their couth, and the untoward ... well, never mind. :) Teresa |
04 Feb 05 - 02:30 AM (#1398653) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Teresa So how'd it go? :) Teresa |

05 Feb 05 - 12:24 PM (#1399907) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Les from Hull He knows all about the thread, Teresa. Ted even did him the favour of printing it and stuffing it through his letterbox. He'll be back, I'm sure. |
07 Feb 05 - 04:30 AM (#1401404) Subject: RE: HULL Flock CLUB From: Hand-Pulled Boy Saw jOhn yesterday. He is still eating and has a cheerful disposition despite having been banned from 'thread involvment' for two whole days. He has shaved off his beard and looked a little pale from his recent experience but assures me that life goes on. He is overwhelmed at the responce of Mudcat members who are desperately missing him. He is a good man. |
