Someone picked it up near the Cumberland Arms in Byker, Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Saturday afternoon. Any information that might secure its safe return would be welcome. Please watch out for any such melodeons that come up for sale. Would be grateful if you could spread this message to any friends in the North East in particular. |
01 Feb 05 - 06:27 AM (#1395427) Subject: RE: missing melodeon From: AggieD What a shame to lose an instrument, all of us Morris musicians are very guilty of doing similar. We often just leave our instruments in a 'safe corner'. I presume he's reported it to the police. Might also be worth alerting local 2nd hand shops as well as music shops to be on the lookout for it, but presumably he's done all that. Good luck to him, hope he finds it. |

03 Feb 05 - 05:06 AM (#1397618) Subject: RE: missing melodeon (North East UK) From: The Borchester Echo Well, Guest, if you are familiar with Aberdonian fencing hotspots, perhaps you would be good enough to check them out for this missing melodeon? Most people are aware that Newcastle is the principal city in North-East England and it is scarcely necessary to teach them geography. The "UK" was never mentioned. However, thieves have wheels and Will's meodeon could now be anywhere. Let's hope it gets back to him soon. |
