01 Feb 05 - 12:12 AM (#1395265) Subject: BS: Training, not combat! --Kerry From: Boab Heard John Kerry's latest on how to go forward in Iraq. It seems he sees the simplest solution as being the substitution of training in place of combat. The word "facile" comes to mind. I thought Mr Bush was already proud of the achievements of the "Iraqi forces" standing shoulder to shoulder with the "coalition"? The Kerry outlook on the mid-East conflicts is so close to that of the 'way-out right of the Bush mob that such meaningless rhetoric can only be labelled "political opportunism". We can begin to believe in the sincerity of such blathers from either camp the first time we see on the streets of Iraq a column of tanks manned and commanded by Iraqis---with perhaps an overflight of the Iraqi airforce. Flying pigs, more than likely...... |

The Dems and Repubs are both bought and paid for by the same intrinsic power structure. The USA elections are as much a farce as the ones they hold in occupied countries like Iraq. |

I think every person who voted for Kerry ought to be ashamed of themselves, just like I think every person who voted for Bush should be ashamed of themselves. Until you are willing to elect REAL leaders with balls (regardless of gender), I'd say quit yer whining. If John Kerry is the best antidote y'all can come up with to the Madness of King George, then you clearly deserve four more years. |

The reason was that it looked like he had a chance to beat bush. That was the most important thing at the time. Maybe Nader is superman, maybe he isn't. Either way, he didn't have enough fans to beat the bush. |
