(They were removed and replaced by a more modern system.) If nobody remembers whether the office radiators were for steam or hot water, is there a way to tell by examining them? |

Also if the new host system is up to the job. Try and find a friendly local plumber or knowledgeable person to check them out. Playing with these things can be dangerous. The best advice I can give as steam radiators are not at all common this (UK) side of the pond. |

And don't go the other way. Hot water radiators will not work with a steam system - very dangerous. |
