08 Feb 05 - 07:33 PM (#1403166) Subject: Tune Req: Old South Waltz From: HiHo_Silver Help!! I have been searching in vain for sheet music or ABC notation for a tune entitled - I believe - Old South Waltz or The Old South Waltz. My research leads me to believe that it could possibly originally have been called Grace Waltz or Beth's Waltz. Believe it is a fiddle tune from Southern U. S. A. Perhaps Sorcha or some fiddlers know and play this waltz. All help and comments appreciated. Jim |

The closest I could get was Johann Strauss 'Roses from the south waltz'. No luck at JC's ABC TuneFinder for any of the name variants. Regards, John |
