Everybody remember to support your local Asian eatery & don't forget to tell them "Happy New Year!" A year or two back, I went with some family members to my nephew's fav "Chinese" eatery, and told them "Gung Hey Fot Choy!" They proceeded to bring me presents of candy, a little red envelope of $$, and a teenie porcelain Buddah. Then they told us all about the activities going on back home in Hong Kong. |

It was so neat. They wore red shirts to school with dragons on them; made dragons in school; and, their teacher taught them a poem about the new year. They also told me all about it being the year of the rooster. Sounds as though they had a wonderful day. Gung he fat choi to you all, too. |
