In the mood for some sick humor? Got hostility issues that need discharging? Check out the ongoing hate feud between a ten-year-old girl and the neighborhood milkman...

Karen vs Milkman Dan

Read that one, then click "next" to see the next one...and so on...

Bill, go back to the homepage of redmeat.com and just read the Karen and Milkman Dan ones until you get the hang of it. They're hilarious.

My favorite is the one taking place in the far future after the universe has exploded.
All that's left is one helium atom, and Karen is the electron and MMD the proton. Now that's destiny....

Yeah I have loved Karen & MmD for years! Sicko stuff but delightfully perverse! Bug Eyed Earl is great but pales under K & Mm D!

Hey, Clinton, I think the guy who does Red Meat should work you in as a regular character in the strip: Clinton, the psycho singer-songwriter of the neighborhood. I figure you could give Milkman Dan and Ted Johnson a run for their money when it comes to chilling one-liners, delivered deadpan, with a sardonic grin barely curling the lip. :-) I'm serious, man. Send him your press kit, bio and some photos and see what can be done.

I'll leave that up to my Fan Club LH...

Okay. Raptor and I will work on it. It's probably better that way anyway. We'll let you know if he goes for the idea.

So now we know about LH. It is funny, though.

I've been bouncing around. I'm also reading a lot of different things at the site. Milkman Dan's great, Bug Eyed Earl's great, the Priest..."Just because Im a priest doesn't mean I won't kick your ass, Milkman Dan." Thanks, Little Hawk.

You're welcome. Red Meat is the weirdest comic around, in my opinion, but it keeps you coming back for more.

The thought of having "Bug-eyed Earl wallpaper" is really, really disturbing...

Hey Liz, that's one of my favorites. I printed that one and have it hanging on the wall by my desk.

well....I read a bunch of 'em....and though a few individual ones, taken by themselves, had a certain compelling quality of imagery (whatever the hell I mean by that)....I never found myself 'amused'. Almost all of the series are one-joke themes based on bad 'practical' jokes and inflicting misery on others. Lots of broken bikes, dead puppies, severed digits...etc...

It's sorta like reading 30-40 consecutive McGonnigal poems....the shock value wanes into boredom......

just before this I had just read an interview with Tom Lehrer, speaking in part about his concept of humor and parody. I never realized he was such a philosopher about it all, but his comments say a lot of what I feel about humor and modern attempts at humor..

here is the Google cache of the interviwe, as the Australian site wants you to register first.
