Neither of these experiences have given me any indication of what the coming of spring might look like. I always thought winter took place in between Chirstmas and New Years. Here it is the end of February and it still looks like winter to me. |

Midsummer is June, autumn is September - December. I've got 10 different flowers blooming in my garden at the moment, including a rose, a snowdrop, the holly, rosemary and periwinkle... so relying on which flower is out to give you a season isn't sensible.
