yes I agree, there's a level of intensity which sometimes makes you jump back.

As I've said before probably on this thread and certainly on others, some of the intensity is perhaps born of the isolation that the folk movement's obsessions a 'traditional' sound has imposed on him.

One things bloody certain however, a most authoritative voice and one of the finest guitar pickers is absent from every folk radio playlist and every major festival line up.
