Looking for ABC Notation or notes for a tune Hunter's Reel. Composed I believe by St. Clair Zinck of Nova Scotia, Canada

Thanks Open Mike> Have all the above mentioned tunes. Did find reference to Hunter's reel in a Google search. It apparently is available in a
"Canadian Fiddle Tune Book" . I guess I will probably have to purchase same. However, as you probably are aware, one accumulates so many books etc. and seldom uses more than one or two of the tunes or they are repeated from book to book, that it gets to be a bit expensive. I no longer play any paying gigs and play mainly for my own enjoyment.

Suggest that you drop a PM to Barry Taylor.

Go for the book which includes the tune (still in copyright); I'm sure it'll be worth it, and you'll be helping to ensure that resources of that kind continue to be published.

I think that the "Hunter" here is Hunter Zinck, incidentally, though unsurprisingly there are quite a few tunes with "hunter" in the title. Those so far mentioned are well known, but irrelevant to the question.

Everybody and his or her dog has recorded that extremely well known tune. It has nothing at all to do with Hunter's Reel.
