07 Mar 05 - 12:49 PM (#1428941) Subject: RE: FREE MP3'S at Soundclick From: just john I use Soundclick as my backup site ( http://www.soundclick.com/bands/9/justjohn.htm -- NOT generally folk music) because free sites were falling over left and right. Mp3.com, amp3.net, besonic and a host of others have had my stuff at times, and they've all either folded, changed their strategies or both. (NOT MY FAULT!) Last I looked, I wasn't happy with the ads Soundclick featured, since they seemed to point to spyware- and malware-installing sites. That said, Soundclick is easy to set up, and if you've got mp3s already on the web, you can copy them to Soundclick faster than re-uploading them. (My "main" site is a site I pay for, http://www.ampcast.com/music/5560/music.php , which has most of the stuff my Sounclick page offers.) |
