01 Mar 05 - 01:21 PM (#1424034) Subject: New Jazz Venue in Beverley From: GUEST,jOhn I nkow this is a flok forum, but this folloes on from the Sam Smiths threasds Sam Smiths recently banned all music in their pubs, including Nellies, Beverley. As well as the long running folkn club, they were also home to a sucsessfull and well established Jazz Club. It has now moved to, Fleningate House, Flemingate, Beverley. and its on Wensday's. starts about 8.30ish. |

He's interested in some jazz work while he's over there. Any sense as to how booking works at this venue, or other possible venues in the area that might work? I will be traveling with him and have lobbied for a side trip to England, as I've never gotten there, and I figure that the Mudcat connections might either enable him to work, or at least allow both of us to have great time. |
