THE TABBUSH SISTERS appear at The Good Old Way Folk Club, The Freeholders, St John's Street, Farncombe, nr Godalming Surrey on Friday 18 March 2005.
Fabulous three-part harmonies from these exciting folk siblings who stole the show from Jim Moray at the Electric Theatre in Guildford! Winners of the WFA young musicians of the year award in 2002 and the daughters of Northumbrian singer Carolyn Robson and fiddle, melodeon & pipes playing Paul Tabbush, they have a large repertoire of traditional and contemporary song.

Guaranteed quality folk entertainment!My latest c.d. purchase just happens to be "All the Fine Young Men" from their talented Mom, Carolyn Robson. The sisters do some vocal harmony backing on several numbers, and they DO sound good. Wish I was within reachable radius.
[ B.T.W. I can highly recommend "All the Fine Young Men" as a worthwhile buy. Being a Scot, I am entranced by Corolyn's rendition of "MacCrimmon's Lament". I heard her singing it 'way back in my Northumbrian days, and was watching her c.d. output for that one in particular!]

I can second Boab's comments regarding Carolyn's CD. Talking of which, Carolyn Robson, Moira Craig and Sarah Morgan will be celebrating the launch of their new CD at an Electric Voices gig in Cranleigh in May. I had the great pleasure of being in the studio when they came in for a live session feature on BBC "South Live" radio programme (Sundays 7-9pm local time - audio streamed) a few months ago - www.bbc.co.uk/southerncounties

If you are "folkie" (in any sense) in Sussex, Surrey, Hants and Dorset (transmission area) you could do worse than sending a demo + biog etc to
